| When: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month. (Oct 7, 21, Nov. 4, 18, Dec 2, 16) 10:00 AM -12:00 PM Class Description: Beginning to intermediate knitters are invited to join the circle: bring your projects and get help where you are stuck; learn new techniques; get help choosing yarns and patterns; learn new increases, cast-ons, decreases, stitches, etc. Each class will address the needs of the knitters who come that day. Call ahead to reserve a place in the circle. Prerequisites: Ability to knit and purl, or you have knitted in the past and need to be reminded! | 121108 - Beginning Drop-Stitch Scarf | ||||
 When: Thursday, Dec. 11, 10AM – 12PM Class Description: Please join us for a quick class on knitting a beautiful drop stitch scarf. This scarf will look beautiful in the winter or spring, as it is knitted with ribbon yarn of your choice (60 inches). We will review casting on, garter stitch, drop-stitch and fringing. Beginners welcome! Additional kits available for Christmas presents! Prerequisites or Class Prep: Bring size #9 knitting needles, or purchase at Old Oaks Ranch. | Knitting Socks on Circular Needles | ||||
 When: New Dates Coming Class Description: Join us for some sock knitting fun, from the toe up! This class will feature “toe-up” construction on two circular needles. Learn to pick appropriate yarn and needles and start knitting a pair of fun, cheery, socks. Prerequisites or Class Prep: Very basic knowledge of knitting. ClassLevel: Beginner (would make a great 2nd or 3rd project!), intermediate, advanced. Fee: $60 plus your choice of yarn and needles. Instructor: Anne Sockwell |
