Store Hours: 10 am - 4 pm, Tuesday through Saturday with Thurs. open until 8pm Our warm and inviting Fiber Arts Center delights fiber enthusiasts of all kinds. We sell an extensive array of yarn and fiber, including fiber hand spun from our own Alpaca! We have supplies, kits, books, and magazines for all the fiber arts, and offer classes in weaving, knitting, crocheting, wearable art design, quilting, felting, spinning, dyeing, and rug hooking. We also sell “Artisan Wares & Wears,” - inspired handcrafted items from local artists.
We are located in beautiful Hill Country, 5 miles north of the Wimberley, just off Route 12, easily accessible from Austin and San Antonio. Our gorgeous outdoor setting is enhanced by our Sculpture Garden, featuring an acre of winding paths landscaped with native plants and displaying sculpture of local artists.
We keep our class sizes small, 6 to 8 students at the most, so that each student receives ample personalized attention from the instructor. Also, students get to know the instructor and each other, creating a community of fiber artists. As one student said, “this is the perfect place to meet a friend, bring a lunch, and spend the day. |
