Cone Heads-Weaving Study Group

When: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays 1PM - 3PM

Class Description: Expand your knowledge in weaving and join us as we explore weave structure, drafting, finishes, color study, garment construction, weaving for the home, art in weaving and much more. Show and tell after group topic is a great finish to get you inspired. Check Calendar for class topic.

Prerequisites or Class Prep: Bring note taking material and camera if you like. Don’t forget your show and tell.

Class Level: Beginner to Advanced.

Fee: $10

Notes: Please bring any show’n tell to share. We will spend the first part of the meeting looking at everyone’s goodies and having Q and A time, before we get to the topic. I am yours for brain picking until 3pm.

1-On-1 Weaving

When: Instruction - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; 10:30AM-4:30PM.

Class Description: Just beginning, learn to weave at your own pace, and make what you want the first time you weave. Novice, brush up on skills; learn a specific weave structure or technique. I will generously help you with any questions or techniques you may have.

Prerequisites or Class Prep: Bring note taking materials. Call to set up your first meeting, 512-847-8784

Class Level: All levels.

Fee: $20 per hr. for instruction + loom rental. No charge for "Open Studio" in our beautiful spacious and well lit weaving studio.

Notes: I have taught 1-on-1 weaving successfully since 1991and have found it to be the most rewarding for myself and my students for learning, reviewing or advancing techniques in weaving

Make Your Own Camp Day

When: ANY DAY! Tuesday through Saturday 10AM-5PM

Class Description: Weave a scarf or bag on a pre-warped loom in one day. Learn the art of choosing your colors, techniques of weaving and a variety of options for finishing your project. Plan on a full day to complete your project.

Prerequisites or Class Prep: Ages: 9-Adult

Fee: $75.00 per person plus material for weft


Notes: Maximum 6 students

Instructions: Bring your lunch to enjoy on the patio or discover one of Wimberley's yummy spots.

Weave On!! 1 Day

Class Description: Weave a project in a day! Weave on a pre-warped loom...make a Scarf, Wrap, Table Runner, Rag Rug, Towels and more! Give us a call to see what we have ready for you this month. What a great way to make a wonderful woven piece in just a day. 512-847-8784
